On behalf of the Greater Sandusky Partnership, Huron County Growth Partnership, and the Erie & Huron County Business Advisory Councils, we are excited to invite you to participate in the 2026 Erie & Huron County Career Showcase—a dynamic, student-centered event designed to connect local employers with the future workforce.

Last year’s event brought together over 70 businesses and 1,200 students, making it one of the region’s most impactful workforce development initiatives. We look forward to building on that success in 2026 with your continued partnership.

Why Participate?

The Career Showcase is designed to:

• Introduce students to career pathways and local industries
• Provide opportunities for:
  • Internships
  • Summer jobs
  • Job shadows
• Support undecided students with career exploration and guidance
• Offer optional on-site interview space for employers who are actively hiring

This is a career-exploratory event. To maximize your impact, we strongly encourage employers to create an interactive, hands-on experience at your booth. Activities such as demonstrations, simulations, or quick skill-based tasks help students better understand your industry and leave a lasting impression.

Additionally, consider bringing branded promotional items (e.g., pens, stickers, flyers, or small giveaways) to reinforce your organization’s presence and provide students with something to remember you by.

Employers will also have the option to display a balloon indicator to signal open opportunities (internships, summer jobs, or full-time roles), helping students easily identify hiring organizations. Lunch will be provided for all employer participants and community partners.
