Huron County Growth Partnership Hosts Annual Golf Outing
Norwalk, OH – The Huron County Growth Partnership (HCGP) Annual Golf Outing, a sold-out networking and fundraising event, brought together more than 140 HCGP members on September 23rd at Eagle Creek Golf Club. Although the outing was called after three holes due to inclement weather, attendees had the opportunity to connect with fellow business professionals while supporting HCGP’s scholarship program and its investment in future leaders. The event provided valuable time for networking and relationship-building while raising support for a meaningful community initiative.
“Although we were unable to complete the round, we were pleased with the strong turnout and support from our members and sponsors,” said Kelly Mann, Membership Manager for HCGP. “The outing continues to be an important opportunity to connect with local businesses while raising funds for scholarships that benefit Huron County students.”
HCGP extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who made the outing possible, including our golfers, volunteers, and the staff of Eagle Creek Golf Club. A special thank you goes to our Presenting Sponsors, Donald M. Graham & Associates and Janotta & Herner; Lunch Sponsor, Sutton Bank; and Beverage Cart Sponsor, Durable Corporation. Attendees also enjoyed a Bloody Mary Bar sponsored by Firelands Federal Credit Union and coffee provided by Sheri’s Coffee House, which helped keep spirits high throughout the rainy morning. We also recognize our Proximity Hole Sponsors, First National Bank, Workspace Sandusky, Maple City Ice, Toft’s Dairy, Don Tester Ford, and Lake Erie Arms, along with our 65 Hole Sponsors, whose support helped make this sold-out event possible. Their generosity and commitment to Huron County exemplify the collaboration and community spirit that drive our region forward while supporting HCGP’s scholarship program for local students.
Proceeds from the golf outing support the HCGP Scholarship Program, which recognizes Huron County high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, business involvement, and a commitment to serving their communities. By investing in local students, the outing directly supports HCGP’s mission: Huron County Growth Partnership empowers businesses to thrive, communities to grow, and opportunities for prosperity.
HCGP encourages members to stay engaged by attending upcoming events, including Network After Work on Wednesday, October 7th at The Village Barn in Monroeville and the Member Quarterly Breakfast on November 4th at the Huron County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
