Global Engineering Firm Announces New Facility in Norwalk, Ohio

Persys Engineering expanding from the coast with first Ohio facility

Norwalk, OH – Persys Engineering, a global leader with over 30 years of experience in precision cleaning for the semiconductor and solar industries, is excited to announce its expansion and investment from the coast of California to a facility in Norwalk, Ohio. This marks the company’s first venture in Ohio, aimed at creating a state-of-the-art facility for servicing and refurbishing semiconductor machine parts. The new Norwalk facility represents a significant $2 million investment from Persys Engineering and a commitment to create 24 jobs in the next 3 years, contributing to the diversification of the city’s tax base.

Lior Yeshurun, General Manager for Persys Engineering, commented, “We are excited to be part of the Norwalk community and wish to thrive together. Everyone we have worked and met with from Norwalk and the Northeast Ohio region have been timely and helpful during this process.”

The collaboration between HCGP, the City of Norwalk, Huron County Department of Job & Family Services, Team NEO, and JobsOhio highlights the effective teamwork and strategic planning that went into securing these resources. The incentives secured are crucial in supporting Persys Engineering’s establishment in Norwalk and ensuring its long-term success.

“The Huron County Growth Partnership (HCGP) and the City of Norwalk played a pivotal role in securing this attraction project. HCGP leveraged their resources to secure a JobsOhio Economic Development Grant and a City of Norwalk Job Creation Tax Grant to support and attract the investment from the company, along with the City of Norwalk’s quick response to the call from Persys looking for facilities to begin their operations” said Sarah Ross, Executive Director of Huron County Growth Partnership.

“Together with our local partners and JobsOhio, we are thrilled Persys chose to establish their new operation here instead of other out-of-state options,” added Erika Roitblat, Project Manager, Programs and Site Selection for Team NEO. “We are fully committed to working with them to ensure their success in the Northeast Ohio Region.”

Persys Engineering will be moving into a formerly vacant manufacturing building in Norwalk’s industrial park and investing in the facility as well as specialized machinery and equipment. The company will provide advanced services and refurbishment capabilities for machine parts used in the semiconductor and solar sectors, reinforcing their commitment to innovation and excellence in these critical industries. Persys Engineering is hiring for general labor and production positions. To apply, see job description here: https://bit.ly/4dyj5Tg.
