Cross promoted to Project Manager, Welfle accepts seat on Board of Directors for Northeast Ohio Development Exchange [NODE]

Huron County Growth Partnership formed in 2024 through the alignment of several local chamber of commerce and economic development organizations. As Huron County Growth Partnership scales under this new, aligned structure, the organization is announcing exciting promotions and appointments within its staff.

Huron County Growth Partnership continues to grow and bring specialization to its staff capacity based on the community’s needs. In 2025 the organization promoted Kayla Cross to Project Manager. Cross joined the organization in January 2023 and has steadily developed her expertise in economic development, community development, and project management during that time. This new managerial role will enable HCGP to take on more complex projects on behalf of its business and community partners.

In early January, Andrea Welfle accepted a seat on the Board of Directors for NODE, Northeast Ohio Development Exchange and will sit on their marketing and outreach committee. The Corporation’s mission is to deliver programming and tools that foster business development efforts.  These efforts may include attracting new business, encouraging capital investment, and driving job creation through ongoing collaboration with Northeast Ohio’s public and private economic development partners.

The board is currently comprised of 21 members, a collaborative voice of leaders from each county residing within the Northeast Ohio region, Team NEO and other private partners. Huron County Growth Partnership is humbled and honored to be a part of this distinguished organization and foster collaborative relationships with our regional partner and neighboring communities.
