Summit Motorsports Park, 1300 State Route 18 East, Norwalk; 419-668-5555. July 28 – 30, 2017. The Chrysler Corporation was mainly known as the company that made family cars and taxi cabs. These stoic boring 4-door beauties were pretty much all pushed down the highway by a bullet proof 318 ci engine that almost always outlasted the bodies. Then along came the HEMI! Chrysler became identified primarily by trademarking the "Hemi" name and then using it extensively in their advertising campaigns beginning in the 1960s. Chrysler has produced three generations of such engines: the first (the Chrysler Fire Power engine) in the 1950s, the second (the 426 Hemi), developed for NASCAR in 1964 and produced through the early 1970s, and finally the "new HEMI" in the early 2000s. The 426 hemispherical engine is a popular power plant for drag racing, funny cars and muscle cars. It is regarded as the best muscle car engine, so using the best engine design for horsepower makes sense. It is one of the most important innovations in automotive history. Car and Driver wrote that it is unquestionable the king of the muscle cars, both for its speed and for its defiance. The 426 Hemi is considered one of the finest engines ever produced. Visit Website.

100.9 The Coast wants you to join together to showcase your business and bring attention to Norwalk and Norwalk businesses in the Norwalk “Our Town” Campaign.
Here’s how it works—
Each participating merchant will receive their own bank of commercials each month. The commercials will consist the Jingle “Our Town” open, followed by their 15-second message. These messages can be changed monthly to concentrate on special offers or the business’ focus for that month. One year commitment required.
Norwalk Businesses will have a position on the station’s Home Page. Listeners will simply click onto the Norwalk “Our Town” icon and click-through to a site with all participating Norwalk businesses logos that will then click-through to the businesses web site at NO CHARGE.
Coast will promote the Norwalk “Our Town” campaign by playing the song associated with this campaign 5 x’s a day or over 1825 times during the year.
What a great way to promote Your Community and Your business with the low cost and high efficiency on the Norwalk “Our Town” Campaign on Norwalk’s Live, Local and Connected Radio Station, 100.9 The Coast!
